The Health Benfits of Fruits and Veggies

The health benefits of fruits and veggies has a new significance in the month of March as it is National Nutrition Month!  The Fruits and Veggie people themselves have inspsired this post!!!!

It is my desire to inspire you to read this post and to help all, myself included in becoming healthier.  February was Heart Month and we as women need to be more aware of the fact that more women are dying from heart disease!

Perhaps one thing that may help and I will put it here for your consideration is to try a fruit and vegetable detox. A cleansing for the body for a few days. It will help to remove toxins and poisons from your body. Let’s give our kidneys and our livers a little rest. Mind Your health, see your MD, but here are some suggestions:

  • The Master Cleanse – basically lemons, grapefruits, orages and maple syrup.
  • Fruits, Veggies and Cabbage Soup – if you are familiar withthe Cabbage Soup Diet, this is basically the first 3 days of the diet followed for a week to detox your body – no meat
